Biography
Brett Weisz, Deputy Chief Information Officer, assumed the position of UND DCIO in November of 2025. He comes to UND from Montana State University Billings where he served as the Chief Information Officer.
With over 22 years of IT experience with the last 12+ in higher education, his experience includes strategic planning, aligning technology with institutional goals, leading cross-functional teams, managing large budgets, and driving innovative solutions that enhance performance, increase security, and improve the user experience.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems from Montana State University Billings and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mary.
